Nadine Gordimer

Nadine Gordimer (20 Kasım 1923-14 Temmuz 2014), Johannesburg doğumlu, Güney Afrikalı yazar. 1974'te Man Booker Ödülü'nü ve 1991'de Nobel Edebiyat Ödülü'nü kazanmıştır. Apartheid karşısında durmuştur. Özgürlük ve insanlık vurgusu yapmıştır. Afrika Ulusal Kongresi'nin (ANC) üyesi olarak, çok sayıda makale, deneme ve söylev kaleme almış, ırk ayrımcılığına karşı tavır almıştır. 14 Temmuz 2014'te 90 yaşında hayatını kaybetmiştir
